　　考考公务员网2014年4月7日讯：The Liberal Arts Program at UM-SJTU JI (Shanghai, PR China) invites applications for full-time lecturer positions in Academic Writing and Liberal Arts. 中国上海交大密西根学院人文社科项目现开放对于学术写作和人文教育领域全职讲师职位的申请。 The UM-SJTU JI is an English-based higher education institute founded in 2006, in a collaboration between the University of Michigan and Shanghai Jiaotong University. It currently offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in mechanical engineering and in electrical and computer engineering based on University of Michigan's curricula. The students, both Chinese and international, begin in Shanghai and can then go on to study at Michigan. 交大密西根学院(UM-SJTU JI)于2006年成立，是由美国密歇根安娜堡大学和上海交通大学合作成立的一个全英语教学的高等教育学院。目前学院基于密歇根大学的课程，提供机械工程和电气和计算机工程专业的本科和研究生学位。中国学生及国际学生可以先在上海学习，之后在密歇根州继续深造。 The Liberal Arts Program is responsible for offering courses aimed at enhancing students’ academic writing and critical thinking skills in an English-language environment as well as providing broader education in humanities and social sciences. 人文社科项目旨在开设能使学生们在全英语环境提高学术写作和批判性思维能力，并在人文和社会科学领域接受更广泛教育的课程。 With the fast expansion of the school in recent years, we are currently looking for full-time lecturers to teach courses in academic writing as well as in humanities and social sciences to strengthen existing programs and to expand the breadth of liberal arts education. 随着学院近年来的快速发展，我们正在寻找在学术写作以及人文和社会科学领域的全职教师，来支持学院现有的项目，并进一步扩大人文教育的广度。

　　Minimum Qualifications ?MA or MFA, PhD preferred; ?University teaching experience in academic writing and/or a humanities and social sciences discipline ?Native level of English, native-English speaker preferred ?Experience working with non-native English speakers preferred ?Demonstrated ability to undertake research preferred 基本要求 1.应聘者应拥有文学硕士或艺术硕士，博士学位者优先; 2.应聘者应具有在大学学术写作和/或人文社科方面课程的授课经验; 3.应聘者应有母语水平的英语能力，母语为英语的应聘者优先; 4.具有科研的出色能力的应聘者优先。

　　Responsibilities ?Deliver up to six classes per academic year, each class typically requires 3 to 4 lecture-hours and 2 office hours per week for a 15-week semester ?Prepare and conduct classes, design homework and supervise examinations ?Guide TAs for recitation classes and grading ?Maintain a course website containing teaching materials and information 职责 1.每学年规定的授课量为6门课程，15周的学期中，每门课程基本需要每周3到4小时的授课时间及2小时的办公室答疑时间。 2.根据指定教学大纲备课、授课，布置作业并监考。 3.指导助教开设助教课，以及作业的批改。 4.维护课程网页，该网页中应包括所有教学资料及相关信息。

　　Successful candidates are expected to teach both writing courses and humanities or social science courses but actual ratio between these two courses is negotiable in consideration of the candidate's background and interest. While the area of specialization is open, expertise in technical communication and in specific disciplines not currently represented - such as economics, history, sociology, anthropology, and psychology - is particularly desirable.
